Frequently asked questions
Yes! Hypnosis is a natural, expanded state of awareness. It's similar to deep meditation, daydreaming, or being fully absorbed in music or a movie. You are never unconscious, never “out,” and never out of control. You remain aware, present, and able to move or stop at any time. Hypnosis simply quiets the analytical mind so deeper perception, intuition, and inner knowing can come online.
We start the experience off gathering as a group and being with opening discussion. You'll learn about Hypnosis, ask any questions you may have, and get comfort with the other participants in the room. Once the actual hypnosis experience begins, you put on your wireless headphones, settle into a comfortable position on your yoga mat, and be guided inward through hypnosis and binaural beats. Although we gather together in a shared space, the experience itself is deeply personal, internal, and unique to you. It’s quiet, immersive, and intentionally designed to help you access non-ordinary states of consciousness. After the hypnosis is over, we engage in group share where everyone who feels called tells their story. This is often the most potent part of the workshops, as thing you brushed off during the experience now have new meaning.
Binaural beats are harmonic sound frequencies that gently guide the brain into slower, more receptive brainwave states where insight, intuition, and subconscious access naturally occur. In this hypnosis session, we use binaural beats created by crystal sound bowls as they add a vibrational resonance that supports nervous system regulation and energetic coherence. Together, they create an environment where the mind softens, the body relaxes, and awareness expands.
Every experience is different. Some people receive emotional release, symbolic imagery, intuitive insight, or a profound sense of peace. Others feel connected to something beyond the physical, while some simply experience deep relaxation and clarity. There is no right or wrong outcome. You’ll receive exactly what your subconscious is ready for in that moment.
There are no promises, guarantees, or forced outcomes. This work creates the internal conditions where connection, insight, or awareness may naturally arise if aligned for you. Many participants report powerful experiences—others experience grounding, healing, or expanded awareness in different ways. Trust that whatever unfolds is intentional and activating a part of you.
This experience is not appropriate for individuals experiencing active or inactive psychosis, severe dissociation, schizophrenia (managed or unmanaged), or any mental health condition(s) that could be destabilized by altered states of consciousness. This includes individuals currently under psychiatric care, taking psychiatric medications, or navigating significant mental or emotional instability.
This is also not suitable for anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or for those who are uncomfortable with sound frequencies, headphones, or consciousness-altering technologies.
This experience is intentionally designed for emotionally grounded individuals. If there is any uncertainty around your mental health, safety, or comfort level, it is best to sit this experience out. No exceptions. Please Note: For safety and integrity of the group and each individual, the facilitator reserves the right to deny participation upon arrival or during the experience. A full refund will be given.
Come rested, sober, and open. Wear comfortable clothes that allows your body to fully relax, and feel free to bring a blanket, pillow, or journal if that helps you settle in. Before the session, you’re invited to quietly set an intention for what you’d like to explore whether that’s connecting with a passed-on loved one, channeling your higher self, meeting your spirit guides, exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness, or simply remaining open to whatever is meant to come through. There’s nothing you need to force or figure out. Simply arrive, get comfortable, and allow yourself to receive.
It’s common to feel deeply relaxed, emotionally clear, inspired, or reflective after the experience. Some insights land immediately, while others unfold over the days that follow. Give yourself space to integrate—hydrate, journal, rest, and move gently. There’s no rush to interpret or label what occurred. Trust that whatever surfaced did so with intention.
Each participant has a fully contained, inward experience through their headphones, allowing you to journey deeply within yourself. The group setting isn’t a distraction—it’s an enhancement. Being held in a collective field creates a sense of safety, grounding, and shared presence, reminding you that you’re not alone as you explore expanded states of consciousness. Hearing others’ intentions and reflections can offer validation, resonance, and deeper trust in your own experience. While the energy of the group supports and amplifies the container, the hypnosis itself remains a personal, self-directed inner journey—guided, protected, and uniquely yours.
